Dr. Meg Miller Turpin, DVM, DACVIM

Meg was raised in Nova Scotia, Canada but attended the Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Prince Edward Island in 1995.  Following graduation from veterinary school, she completed an internship at the Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital.  She then completed her Residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 after which she became boarded in Equine Internal Medicine.  She moved to Palm Beach County in 1998 where she worked as an associate at Reid & Associates Referral Hospital until 2004.     In 2004, Meg started her own mobile referral business, now known as Equine Medicine Specialists of South Florida.   Her primary interests are the gastrointestinal tract, specializing in chronic colics and gastric ulcer disease, equine cardiology and poor performance but expand to include endocrine and neurologic disease.  She is a firm believer in adjunctive therapies such as Hyperbaric Oxygen, so much so that she is the founder and part owner of the Equine Hyperbaric Center of South Florida. 

Dr. Lisa Fultz DVM, MS, DACVIM

Dr. Lisa Fultz is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada but primarily grew up in Tampa, Florida. She attended the University of Florida for both her Bachelors of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation from the University of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, Dr. Fultz completed her internship at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala, followed by a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia. In 2014, she became board certified in Large Animal Internal Medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. During her residency Dr. Fultz completed a Masters of Science in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis on the pharmacokinetics of veterinary-exclusive antibiotics. Before joining Equine Medicine Specialists Dr. Fultz spent 1 year as a clinical instructor in Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia while pursuing cross-training in lameness, surgery and radiology. She has published and spoken at national meetings about non-surgical management of nephrosplenic entrapments, and systemic & aerosolized antimicrobial therapy. Dr. Fultz's primary interests include respiratory disease, gastrointestinal disease, neonatology, and care of the older horse. She also has a strong interest in small ruminant/camelid preventative medicine and critical care.

Tiffany Jackson, Veterinary Technician

Tiffany is a native Floridian who is attending Palm Beach State College to obtain her associate's degree. She is currently majoring in Microbiology and Bacteriology and is looking to transfer to the University of Florida. She adores her Quarter horse Dagwood with whom she spends most of her free time. When she isn't at her barn, working, or in classes, she enjoys catching a tan on the boat with her friends.
